Campaign Introduction

Sigmarhaven is the biggest settlement outside of Mordheim, where gangs rest and recuperate, and launch their forays into the city of the damned. A settlement devoid of a culinary scene, where food is barely edible, the halflings see opportunity. And no halfling sees it clearer than the new Don.

Rollo “Two-Spoons” Tumblefoot — so named for his legendary ability to eat twice as fast as any rival — has stepped up to lead the Halfling Mafia. Under his ladle, the syndicate has a simple vision: seize Sigmarhaven’s kitchens, markets, and taverns, and by extension control the riches coming out of Mordheim.

But Rollo’s rise has not gone unchallenged. Deep in the ruins of Mordheim stirs a rival power — the Gastromancers, a Chaos cult that believes every meal is a ritual, every recipe a spell, and every banquet a chance to twist fate itself. To them, there are too many cooks in the kitchen and Rollo’s “family business” need to be flambĂ©ed.

Now the streets of Mordheim run with more than blood: they’re smeared with sauce, crumbs, and curdled milk as warbands are drawn into the struggle. Some fight for Rollo’s Pork Pie Protection Racket, hoping for Mafia gold and favors. Others side with the Gastromancers, trading sanity for sorcerous feasts. And a few simply scramble for scraps, hoping to eat today and live tomorrow.

In the end, only one truth will matter: whoever controls the menu, controls the city.
